Apartment in Areeiro I

Lisbon, PT 2020 Private client _ Rehabilitation project A satisfied client returns! This time it wasn’t a family home, but rather an apartment with generous areas and great potential for student rentals. After the inevitable decluttering, we focused on unifying the spaces through carefully chosen materials while bringing in light and comfort. A thorough layout study was carried out to organize the rooms and accommodate 5 students. Each bedroom was given its own purpose: some smaller, others featuring private study areas, and even a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom—which was once the sewing room. Along the way, we resolved water infiltration issues coming from the roof, as it was a top-floor apartment. The kitchen and bathrooms were built from scratch, and the existing wooden flooring was restored. In the most degraded areas, we matched the original wood, eliminating an old, mismatched combination of materials that didn't work. The kitchen was custom-designed and built, with the extra care of creating a very useful dining nook ideal for shared living. Meanwhile, the large living room was planned to accommodate a common area for relaxation and leisure. In the end, a satisfied client with zero headaches throughout the process. Thank you for the trust placed in us!
